Automation Overview
Organize automated customer workflows with Dify or the visual builder.
GChat automation runs customer communication workflows for a connected integration. Automations are organized into spaces.
Space Types
| Type | Use it for |
|---|---|
| Builder | Create visual funnels with triggers, messages, conditions, delays, variables, tags, transfers, and HTTP requests. |
| Dify | Connect an integration to a Dify application with an API token. |
Disabling a space pauses its automation without deleting the configuration.
Builder Structure
A builder setup has four levels:
- Space - contains related funnels and can be linked to an integration.
- Funnel - defines when a workflow starts and whether it is active.
- Step - groups actions that run together.
- Trigger connection - decides when and where the flow continues.
Recommended Workflow
- Create a Builder space for one integration or automation purpose.
- Create a funnel in Draft status.
- Choose its start trigger.
- Build and connect steps on the visual canvas.
- Add variables only when the flow needs stored or reusable values.
- Open the checklist and resolve errors.
- Save and test the funnel.
- Set the funnel to Active and enable it.
