Telegram User

The Telegram User integration connects a Telegram user account to GChat.

Use this integration when the workspace needs to process messages through a Telegram user account instead of a bot.

Connection Settings

Proxy settings are optional. Leave them empty to connect without a proxy.

Only HTTP proxy connections are supported for Telegram User integrations. SOCKS, MTProto, and other proxy types should not be used here.

Connect Telegram User

1. Open Integrations.
2. Under Create Integration, select Telegram User.
3. Fill proxy settings if needed.
4. Click Show QR Code.
5. Open Telegram on the user account that should be connected.
6. Scan the QR code and confirm authorization in Telegram.
7. If Telegram requests a cloud password, enter it in GChat and click Confirm password.
8. Wait until the status shows that the integration is connected.

Proxy Usage

Use proxy settings only when your Telegram connection needs to route through a specific HTTP proxy.

If you do not need a proxy, leave all proxy fields empty.

After Connecting

After the account is connected:

1. Check that it appears in the Integrations table.
2. Enable it if needed.
3. Link an operator group to the integration in Settings -> Groups.
4. Assign staff profiles to that group.
5. Send a test message to confirm routing.

Troubleshooting

QR Code Does Not Appear

Check proxy settings and try again. Make sure the proxy is an HTTP proxy. If a proxy is not required, clear proxy fields and click Show QR Code again.

Telegram Authorization Fails

Make sure the QR code is scanned from the correct Telegram account and that Telegram allows login confirmation.

If the status says that a cloud password is required, enter the Telegram two-step verification password. This is different from the proxy password.

If the QR code expires, request a new code and scan it again.

Messages Do Not Reach Operators

Check that the integration is enabled, linked to a group, and that the group has staff members.
